Mesabi Fit
Membership Assistance Program
This program is intended to support individuals who are facing financial hardship and are within the ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) population, as well as those whose household income falls below the Federal Poverty Guidelines. The program is designed to assist recipients with a reduced 6-month membership to Mesabi Fit, which includes 24/7 access and basic membership. Swimming lessons and Specialty classes are not included.
To maintain the scholarship, recipients must meet the following requirements:
Minimum Usage Requirement: The recipient must use the membership at least 4 times per month. If the recipient does not meet this minimum usage requirement, their membership will be terminated.
Lost or Damaged Membership Card: Recipients are responsible for the replacement cost of a lost or damaged membership card.
Membership Payment Responsibility: A portion of the membership fee will be paid by the scholarship, and recipients are responsible for paying the remainder of the membership fee. If the recipient defaults on their portion of the membership payment, the membership will be terminated.
